Synopsis
How to Talk Australians: The Movie is based on the hit web series of the same name. This time around we follow the students of the Delhi College of Linguistics as they leave the classroom behind and embark on a journey Down Under. When their flight is diverted to the regional town of Dubbo (because some bogan parked his ute on the runway) and their tour leader is detained by customs - the group unexpectedly discovers the “real” Australia, despite never quite making it to Sydney, Melbourne, Uluru, or even Adelaide.
The film offers a scathing take on Australian culture through the eyes of a group of Indian call centre workers, promising audiences from all backgrounds a laugh-out-loud theatrical experience – and some entertaining insights into Australian language.
