TONY ROGERS | DIRECTOR, WRITER 

Tony Rogers is the co-creator and director of the beloved ‘Wilfred” series for SBS, now a hit series in the US. His award winning signature style is comedic realism and high concepts, utilizing brilliant casting for stellar performances.

He is now currently working on several projects, one of which is the 7-part Web- Series spectacular BRUCE, selected for funding by Screen Australia, soon to be released, comedy FUNT, and the dystopian comedy, PACIFIC COVE.

His first foray into feature film was the highly acclaimed RATS AND CATS, a quirky but realistic look into the lives of an unexpected group of Aussies passing time in the fictitious coastal town of Gladdington.

His comedy web series HOW TO TALK AUSTRALIANS (2014) has been a viral sensation, attracting international acclaim and sparking heated debate.

ROB HIBBERT | WRITER    

Rob has been a national finalist in the Raw Comedy competition, and has appeared in SBS’s JOHN SAFRAN’S MUSIC JAMBOREE and JOHN SAFRAN VS GOD. After winning a pitching competition at SPAA, Rob went on to co-write and produce sitcom pilot I CAN’T BELIEVE IT’S NOT BETTER which screened on Foxtel’s Comedy Channel. He also wrote and performed in RON & RHONDA’S RIDE ROUND OZ (unscreened). In 2011 he had his first book published by Penguin New York, called IMAGES YOU SHOULD NOT MASTURBATE TO.

Following the success of the award-winning web-series version of HOW TO TALK AUSTRALIANS (2014), he is currently developing the comedy FUNT, amongst other projects.

JASON BYRNE | PRODUCER    

JASON BYRNE works across multi-platform content creation and has produced internationally acclaimed and award winning work in the advertising, feature film, online media, documentary and branded entertainment space. His roots in advertising however, have paved the way for what’s now considered his niche in the communications/media & advertising world. 

Jason’s online content credits include ‘How to Talk Australians’ (dir. Tony Rogers, 2014) garnered over 12 million YouTube views, comedy web series ‘Little Acorns’ (2016), and period black comedy web series ‘Bruce’ (dir. Tony Rogers, 2016) starring Dave Lawson, Angus Sampson and Richard Davies. 

His feature and short film credits have been nominated and awarded at the AFI, IF & SPAA awards. Feature credits include ‘One Perfect Day’ (dir. Paul Currie, 2003), Little Deaths (2004), Rats & ‘Cats. (dir Tony Rogers 2005) and Sucker’ (dir. Ben Chessell, 2015). Other known credits include 50 min. tele feature ‘The Heartbreak Tour’ (dir. Ben Chessell, 2005), ABC Documentary ‘Beyond The Backyard’, feature length ABC documentary ‘Shadow Play’ (dir. Josh Whiteman, 2009), ‘A Brilliant Genocide’ (dir, Ebony Butler),  TV doco-drama Ch10 ‘Tom Wills’ (dir. Maurice Dowd, 2016. Recently Jason produced the feature film ‘Brothers Nest’ Directed by Clayton Jacobson, starring Shane Jacobson, Sarah Snook, Lynette Curran and Kym Gyngell, that completed production in June 2017. Jason is the producer and creator of the documentary ‘Gatwick – The Last Chance Hotel,’ that aired on ABC in November 2018. Gatwick. Also ‘The Burning’ for Amazon Prime Video dir Eva Orner debuting in 2021at Toronto Film Festival and the SFF.

VICTORIA SCHAW | PRODUCER    

Following a number of years working in the music industry alongside many prominent Australian and International Artists, Tori’s focus and passion moved to film and television.

She has been working in film and TV production since 2007 - continuously in development and production on short and long form projects in both Australia and NZ. This includes the likes of Australia’s web series ‘How to Talk Australians’ and also a multi­tude of television commercials with some great Australian and Kiwi directors.

She worked with Emmy Award winning director Eva Orner on her Amazon Prime documentary ‘The Burning’, whichspeaks to climate change and documenting the Australian Bushfires of 2019/2020.

Tori’s current short films include ‘Lil’ with director Lizzy Bailey – shortlisted in 2019 Tropfest; and ‘The Hunted’ with director Benn Jae which screened at the 2019 St Kilda Short Film Festival.

Her latest short film in production with Nathan Croft involves deaf actors, alongside lead roles played by Lily Sullivan and Phoebe Roberts.
